Treatment Efficacy: PolyLink & Oximetry

At Sefam, we believe treatment doesn’t stop with diagnosis. Monitoring treatment efficacy is vital to ensure each patient’s therapy is working as intended—and that’s where PolyLink and overnight oximetry come in.

PolyLink and Sefam Analyse

The PolyLink system, when used with Sefam Analyse desktop software, offers a unique way to visualise detailed, on-treatment sleep and respiratory data all in one place. This comprehensive view supports real-time clinical decisions and adjustments, helping to ensure optimal therapy delivery for patients on S.Box or Néa devices.

Key Features:

  • Centralised display of all treatment efficacy signals in the Sefam Analyse software

  • Supports home titration and re-titration (where appropriate)

  • Enables remote setting adjustments based on data collected

What Does PolyLink Measure?

The PolyLink system collects high-quality, synchronised signals including:

  • Respiratory effort

  • Body position

  • Oxygen saturation and heart rate (via the Nonin wrist oximeter)

  • Flow, pressure, and unintentional leaks

This data is stored directly on the device SD card and analysed using Sefam Analyse (v2 or later), giving clinicians a polygraphic view of therapy effectiveness across 10 data channels during CPAP/APAP/NIV therapy.

Sefam Oximeter Integration

The Nonin WristOx2 3150 with PureSAT® SpO2 technology is a high-performance Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) oximeter. Designed for overnight use, it delivers fast, accurate oxygen saturation and pulse rate readings—even in cases of:

  • Low perfusion

  • Patient movement

Seamless Wireless Sync:
The oximeter automatically connects to the S.Box or Néa and sends oxygen data to be stored and reviewed via Sefam Analyse software.

Together, PolyLink and Sefam oximetry provide the insights needed to personalise, adjust, and optimise therapy in real time, ensuring the highest standard of care for patients undergoing PAP therapy.
